  Wilkes-Barre Preservation Society and curator of the 1793 Zebulon Butle
 r House Museum\, the oldest house in Wilkes-Barre. Brooks has been a lea
 der in historic preservation and teaching local history for the last 23 
 years. He is a recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s
  Founders Award for Patriotism for his efforts to promote history and hi
