 I” is a five-part series exploring the people\, events\, and stories t
 hat shaped our region. This second series features topics including the 
 history of Wilkes-Barre through portrait art\, 250 years of local archit
 ecture\, Revolutionary War veterans of Wilkes-Barre\, influential women 
 of the Wyoming Valley\, and a documentary presentation on the Agnes Floo
 d of 1972.\nTony Brooks\, Director of WBPS\nTony Brooks is the executive
  director of the Wilkes-Barre Preservation Society and curator of the 17
 93 Zebulon Butler House Museum\, the oldest house in Wilkes-Barre. Brook
 s has been a leader in historic preservation and teaching local history 
 for the last 23 years. He is a recipient of the Daughters of the America
 n Revolution’s Founders Award for Patriotism for his efforts to promot
 e history and historic preservation.
