Friedman JCC Sports Hall of Fame Committee will hold an annual meeting to review potential candidates. If you are interested in nominating someone for the Sports Hall of Fame, you will have the opportunity to submit a Candidate Nomination Form for the athletic committee to review.
The basic criteria for consideration for induction into the Friedman JCC Sports Hall of Fame are:
· Candidate must be a minimum of ten (10) years dues paying member
· Must have had 10 – 25 years cumulative participation in JCC Athletic Programs
· 10 – 25-year involvement in Youth, High School, Collegiate, Olympic, or Professional Sports – (High quality/ character)
· In addition to those with athletic accomplishments, the JCC Sports Hall of Fame Committee will also consider those with achievements in broadcasting, management, and journalism
· Provide any pertinent articles or information
· Supply three (3) verifications of the above information
· If chosen, the candidate and/or family representative must be able to attend and accept the Annual “JCC Sports Hall of Fame” award
· JCC Hall of Fame nominee speech is preferred, but not required
