The Gymnasium at the Friedman JCC is a gym for everyone!
Our basketball court is a regulation-sized high-school court with six baskets and a central divider for creating two smaller courts. Our electronic score-boards and flexible bleacher system allows us to create a phenomenal spectator experience for individual or tournament play.
“Basketball at The J” has long been part of our culture. Basketball leagues provide opportunities for senior adults, adults, high school and elementary-ages. We’re proud of our partnership with the My Sky Elite Basketball program. Private basketball instruction is also offered.
Other court games offered at the Friedman JCC include pickleball, the nation’s fastest growing paddleball sport, which combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, as well as volleyball.
Plus, we house the region’s only regulation squash courts adjacent to the gymnasium!
