The JCC Day Camp in Kingston will be providing unique and wonderful activities for kids, ages 5 -13!
Camp will run every week from June 9 through August 22, 2025.

    Step 2: Purchase Your Camps

    Purchase Options:

    • $250 Per Week (pick and choose the weeks that work for you).
    • Register for the entire session and receive week #11 FREE!
    • Before and aftercare options are available.
    • You can reserve your weeks with a $50 deposit per week.

    General Information

    • Campers can be dropped off at Friedman JCC at 9:00am, and picked up promptly at 4:00pm.
    • Before Care is available for $25.00 per week and those campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:00am-9:00am.
    • After Care is available for $25.00 per week and those campers can be picked up anytime between 4:00pm-6:00pm. Campers picked up AFTER 6:00pm, will be assessed a late fee of $1.00 per minute.
    • Before and After Care combined is $40.00 weekly.
    • Field Trips ARE included in the $250.00 weekly charge. We are attempting to keep field trips on Thursdays, however may change due to weather. Field Trips consist of Bowling, Hillside
      Farms, Electric City Aquarium, Lehman Nature Sanctuary, Pikes Peak Mini Golf & Laser Tag, Lackawanna Coal Mine, Francis Slocum, Roller Skating, Nay Aug Park, Movies 14 and Montage
    • Water Park. (Those campers ONLY attending week 11 and will be attending Montage Water Park, will have an additional $25.00 field trip fee)
    • Lunch will be available for $40.00 per week. Lunch will be made and packed by Atrium.
    • Campers are required to bring their own snack in. We will have a snack cart with drinks and snacks ranging from $1-$2.
    • Pool Day will be on Tuesdays, however may change due to weather. We will be walking to the Kingston Rec Pool. Campers should bring swimsuit as well as towel.
    • On non-field trip / pool days, campers will do outdoor water activities. A swimsuit or change of clothes is suggested, as well as a towel.
    • Register for 10 weeks, receive the 11th week for FREE!
    • A $50.00 deposit per week will be required to hold the campers spot. Weekly charges will be required to be paid the Wednesday BEFORE the week of camp. Deposits are NOT refundable or transferrable.

    Additional Camp Information

    • Campers will need to wear suitable clothes; shirts, shorts, etc. Campers must wear enclosed shoes with socks…NO SANDALS! **Caps, hats, etc. are encouraged to block the sun.
    • Each camper should bring plenty of fluids to last throughout the day. A water bottle with campers name on it is suggested. There is refillable water stations throughout the center for the campers.
    • Campers are discouraged to bring Phones and Electronics, or anything valuable. JCC Camp Staff is not responsible for misplaced or damaged items.
    • Absences: If at all possible, please call 570-824-4646 between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. if your child will not be attending camp on a given morning.
    • Illness/Injury: If a child becomes ill or hurt at camp, parents will be notified and the appropriate course of action will be determined.
    • Medications: While all JCC Camp, all staff are First Aid and CPR Certified, they are not trained or qualified to distribute any medication. General First Aid supplies such as band aids, splints, slings, antibiotic cream, antiseptic wipes, etc… will remain with camp staff. Inhalers and EPI pens are the only prescription/medications that may be sent to camp with the camper and they must know how to administer the medication themselves with the assistance of a qualified adult.     Camp Rules

    • Camp staff uses assertive discipline in which positive reinforcement will be top priority. Camp rules and consequences will be clearly posted and discussed in detail every Monday and reviewed throughout the week as needed. Children will be consistently rewarded for good behavior through the use of verbal praises, smiles, awards, stickers, popcorn paities, prizes, etc.
    • Campers who choose to break a rule will be subject to the appropiiate consequences. Consequences will consist of either major or minor offenses. Depending on offense, a conference with counselor, director, assistant camp director, and/or Manager will be conducted.
    • Please discuss the following rules and consequences with your child. Please be aware that continued and/or severe discipline problems will result in suspension from camp.
    • GENERAL RULES:
-Follow all directions the first time given.
-Respect your director, counselors, and fellow campers.
-Use nice words and speak for yourself.
-Always clean up your own area.
-NO fighting.
-If you CAN’T see a counselor or director, you are in the WRONG place.
-Participate in all activities.
-Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself
-Rules may be changed and/or added by JCC Staff to ensure the safety of both the campers and staff at any time.
    • CONSEQUENCES – JCC Camp operates on a color system with yellow being a warning and red being a phone call and notice to the parent or legal guardian. Parents will be contacted on any major offense and notified prior to disciplinary action. Continued violation of minor offenses will result in a disciplinary letter sent to parent.
    • Minor Offenses (Yellow): include but are not limited to talking in a disruptive manner when one should to be listening, not cleaning up their area after eating, etc.
      -Time Out
      -Reprimand
      -Loss of privileges
      -Etc…
    • Major Offenses (Red): include but are not limited to cussing, fighting, obscene gestures, destruction of property, extreme inappropriate behavior, etc.
      -Camper consultation with Camp Director and/or Assistant Director
      -Parent consultation with Camp Director and/or Manager
      -Loss of swim time or fun activities
      -Suspension from field trips
      -Suspension from Camp
      -Etc…

    *Counselors will use his/her judgment in the action taken for minor offenses. Consultation and involvement with Camp Director, Assistant Camp Director, and/or Recreation Manager for major offenses. If a camper is suspended from camp, registration fees are not refundable.
