In honor of National Pickleball Month, observed in April, the Friedman JCC, located at 613 S.J. Strauss Lane in Kingston, is offering free lessons (including free admission to the JCC) on Sunday, April 23 from 12 noon – 1 PM. All those interested in trying the sport are welcome to borrow a paddle and come “dink” – but stay out of the “kitchen.” Pickleball Ambassador Joe Czarnicki and advanced players will share the rules of the game and instruct on how to play. Beginners will get a taste of the fun paddle game that is the fastest growing sport in the nation.
Beginner lessons are also offered on Tuesdays from 1-2 PM for $10 (plus JCC admission for non-members) and open play and leagues are available throughout the week. More lessons for beginners will be added.
For more information and to register, call the JCC at 570-824-4646 or log onto https://friedmanjcc.org/
