The Friedman JCC is proud to introduce the JCC 5K Series, a new community race initiative designed to bring people together through fitness, wellness, and shared experiences throughout the year.
The series features three races held across the 2026 season, each offering a unique atmosphere while supporting community programming and engagement at the JCC.

The Friedman JCC 5K Series officially kicks off with the Summer 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, August 1 at 9:00 AM. Whether you’re an experienced runner, casual walker, or simply looking for a fun way to connect with the community, this event is a great opportunity to get active and be part of something new.
The Summer 5K marks the first race in the inaugural Friedman JCC 5K Series, followed by the Fall 5K on September 19 and the Ben August Thanks for Giving Day 5K on November 26. Together, the series celebrates health, wellness, and community while bringing participants together throughout the year.
LOCATION:
- Start and finish at The Sidney And Pauline Friedman Jewish Community Center (JCC), 613 S J Strauss Lane, Kingston, PA 18704
- Beginning at the JCC, runners will go around the building, out to the sidewalks along 3rd avenue to the Kingston Rec. Continuing through the parking lot, up to the levee, keeping to the right. Continue down the levee into Kirby Park, where they will turn around and head back to Kingston Rec. After the Kingston Rec parking lot, turn left onto the sidewalk, turn left into the JCC parking lot, and straight into finish.

- Early Registration: $30
- After July 19th through Day of Race: $35.50
- Day of race registration will be open until 8:30 pm, via the original registration link and QR Code Quick Registration.
- A $6 Processing Fee will be added during checkout
- Packet Pickup will begin at 7:30am at The JCC
- Complete all 3 JCC 5K Race Series (August 1, September 19, November 26, 2026 for invite and exclusive Awards, Swag and Bragging Rights!
