JCC 5K Run & Walk
Part of the Friedman JCC 5K Series!
The Friedman JCC is proud to launch the new JCC 5K Series with our kickoff event on Friday, June 5 at 6:00 PM!
The June 5 event serves as the official kickoff to the series and will also be part of NEPA Gives, the region’s 24-hour giving celebration supporting nonprofit organizations across Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Following the race, participants and guests are invited to stay for a community After Party featuring music, activities, and opportunities to support local impact through NEPA Gives! Whether you are an experienced runner, casual walker, or simply looking to support the community, this event is designed for everyone.

2026 JCC 5K Series Schedule
June 5 at 6:00 PM — JCC 5K Run & Walk + NEPA Gives After Party
September 19 at 9:00 AM — Fall 5K
November 26 at 9:00 AM — Turkey Trot 5K
Proceeds from the June 5 event will help support JCC Summer Camp and create meaningful experiences and opportunities for local children and families.

Friday, June 5, 2026 – Time: 6:00 p.m.
LOCATION:
- Start and finish at The Sidney And Pauline Friedman Jewish Community Center (JCC), 613 S J Strauss Lane, Kingston, PA 18704
- Beginning at the JCC, runners will go around the building, out to the sidewalks along 3rd avenue to the Kingston Rec. Continuing through the parking lot, up to the levee, keeping to the right. Continue down the levee into Kirby Park, where they will turn around and head back to Kingston Rec. After the Kingston Rec parking lot, turn left onto the sidewalk, turn left into the JCC parking lot, and straight into finish.

- Early Registration: $30
- After May 29th through Day of Race: $35.50
- Day of race registration will be open until 5:30 pm, via the original registration link and QR Code Quick Registration.
- A $6 Processing Fee will be added during checkout
- Packet Pickup will begin at 4:30pm at The JCC
- Join us afterwards for 5K awards and NEPAGives celebration
- Complete all 3 JCC 5K Race Series (June 5, September 19, November 26, 2026 for invite and exclusive Awards, Swag and Bragging Rights!
